Cabo San Lucas, located on the southern tip of the Baja in Mexico, is home to Jerry Nelson (UCLA, '47) and his home serves as a wonderful vacation spot for brothers of Phi Psi. Since 1999 members of Texas Beta have been fortunate to enjoy his hospitality through an annual journal "South of the Border". Each year various groups of alumni travel down to enjoy the wonderful weather and hospitality of the Nelsons.
These vacations to Cabo are provided through the generous support of Jerry (UCLA, 47') and Florence Nelson. Brother Nelson is a strong supporter of Phi Kappa Psi and through his efforts Texas Beta has raised over $200,000 in the construction of a chapter house at Texas Tech University.
